We’ll help you navigate through the regulatory and technical obstacles that come with flying BVLOS.

Waiver Writing

Our team will work closely with you to develop a BVLOS waiver application for the best chance of approval. Our extensive work with agencies like the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and regulators around the globe has given us an expertise in building applications that meet all the necessary requirements.

Project Management

We’ll work with you to develop a plan specific to your company’s needs. This includes creation of Concept of Operations (CONOPS), operational risk assessments using supported tools, such as the JARUS SORA, and guidelines on the documentation required for any BVLOS mission. We also provide all of the technical documentation and test results required for Casia, Iris’ Detect and Avoid system.

    The Process

    Our waiver procedure includes:

    • Scoping meeting and timeline development
    • Planning and supporting necessary data collection
    • Flight test data and full documentation from our Casia module
    • Final packet creation and submission support
    • Post-submission guidance to approval

From the initial meeting to submission, the process should take approximately 2 months.
This timeline requires our clients to have appropriate Standard Operating Procedures, a Flight Operations Manual, Maintenance Manual and logs, and training/personnel performance records.
