Testing Program Assistant
Description
As a testing assistant for the remote testing office of a rapidly growing UAS start-up, you’ll have a large impact on the future of the drone industry by assisting with preparations and execution of important UAS test flights. This is a part-time (20 hr/week), hourly position at $12.50 per hour.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Assist in conducting multiple weekly UAS tests, while adhering to test plans and safety guidelines
- Assist with test data organization and classification
- Contribute to the development of a healthy and productive office culture
- Other duties as required
Useful Skills
Proficient (hands-on experience) in at least two of the following subjects:
- A team player, capable of following instructions and exercising safe work practices
- Strong written and oral communication ability
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Drive technology suites
- Ability to lift 50lbs comfortably
- Excited to work in a fast paced, collaborative, small team environment
Considered a plus:
- UAS mechanical ability
- Full US drivers licence and access to a vehicle
- Part 107 Small UAS certification
- Private pilot license and/or access to small manned aircraft
- Basic understanding of C++ computer programming
